This notice explains browser storage used by Top Notch Turf & Supply on topnotchlsc.com. Cookies are small values a browser stores and sends with relevant requests. Session storage holds information for a browsing session. These tools serve different purposes from the inquiry records stored by the shop.
Estimate request identifier
When you submit the estimate form, it uses a session-storage entry called tn-quote-key to help recognize retries and avoid duplicate requests. The entry contains a random identifier, rather than your name or project details. The identifier can be associated with your submitted request, so it is not a promise of anonymity.
Session storage normally ends when the tab or browsing session closes, although browser restore features can preserve it. If browser storage is unavailable, the form keeps an identifier in memory while the page remains open. Clearing storage or opening another session may cause a later submission to be treated as a new request. Contact the shop before resubmitting if you are unsure whether a request was received. Clearing browser storage does not delete a request already sent to the shop.
Staff authentication and calendar connection
The staff area uses Supabase authentication cookies and temporary sign-in verification values to establish and maintain authorized sessions. Their duration depends on the sign-in flow and session settings. These are used when accessing the staff area, rather than as a requirement to browse products or submit a public estimate request.
When an administrator connects Google Calendar, a temporary verification cookie helps protect that connection process. It is set to expire after ten minutes and is cleared when the callback is processed. Blocking relevant cookies can prevent staff sign-in or calendar connection from completing.
Maps, reviews, and advertising
Google Maps and review links open an external service only when you follow them. These pages do not automatically load an embedded Google map. Google may use its own cookies after you open its service, according to its privacy policy and your settings.
We have not added advertising pixels, retargeting scripts, or a nonessential analytics integration to this website. There is no optional advertising-cookie category to enable here. Hosting, security, and email services may still process technical or delivery records, as described in our privacy policy.
Your browser controls
Your browser’s privacy or site-data settings let you inspect, block, or remove cookies and storage for this site. Removing staff authentication data can sign you out, and blocking it can prevent sign-in. These controls do not remove information already held in the shop’s request records. We will update this notice if our use of browser storage changes. Before adding optional tracking, we will assess the applicable notice and consent requirements and put the needed controls in place.
